We are committed to clear and transparent pricing for your care. For patients needing a second or follow-up consultation to discuss diagnostic results and plan subsequent steps, there is a standard fee of £150.
This dedicated appointment is vital for Mr Syed to personally review your results, explain them to you thoroughly, address any questions you might have, and work together to determine the most appropriate course of action for your health.
Some locations or specialists charge more, or offer different rates for new versus follow-up appointments or remote consultations. Costs vary significantly based on the clinic, specialist, appointment type (e.g., face-to-face vs. virtual), and the specific location.
Post-Operative & Procedure Care (Included in Surgical Package)
Please be assured, there are no follow-up charges for any patient who has undergone an operation, procedure, or endoscopy with Mr Syed. Your post-procedural review forms a standard part of your comprehensive surgical care package.
Follow-Up for Diagnostic Scan Results
For other patients, at least one follow-up consultation is necessary to review and discuss the results of any diagnostic imaging, such as an ultrasound, CT, or MRI scan. This ensures you receive a thorough and proper explanation of the findings directly from your consultant.

I provide Harley Street-level treatment locally, supporting you through every stage—from your first consultation and investigations to surgery, hospital stay, and follow-up.
I remain personally involved and available throughout your care journey.
Most procedures are offered as part of an all-inclusive fixed-price package, covering surgeon and anaesthetist fees, hospital stay, tests, and aftercare. Interest-free payment plans over 10 months are also available.

Telephone/Video Consultation (Non-UK)
For patients residing outside the UK, an initial telephone or video Zoom consultation with Mr Haider Syed costs £325.
Please note: These charges apply to both face-to-face and remote consultations. The consultation fees listed above are exclusively for self-paying patients.
When consultation costs are covered by health insurance, rates may differ and the applicable agreed fees will be billed to the insurance provider. Generally, our consultation fees reflect the standard charges made locally by most consultants in private practice. We would ideally prefer to see patients with a referral letter from either a GP or another consultant.
Multiple Procedures
If you require two or more procedures performed simultaneously, the fee for the two procedures will be recalculated accordingly.
Should your case be complex and/or your consultant recommend more than two procedures at the same time, we will negotiate with the relevant insurance company for an appropriate fee adjustment. You will always need to contact them initially to confirm that you are planning to undergo surgery.
